7- and 8-letters:
There are around 54000 8- and 7-letter words (altogether) in
OSPD. With such a wide choice, one can have nearly any
combination hiding the bingo. It is agreeable that the rack
would look very shabby by doing all these things, but still, he
can afford at least 30 seconds for taking a glimpse of it. xxTo
be on the safer side, it is advisable to follow some
strategies: Firstly, let the game not be opened with a T, R, S,
or an E on center square. This would give the opponent a lot of
bingo chances (from TWS). Let it be noted that the vowel
adjoining the colored square is the opponent's most scoring
point. The player should bear in mind that the V, Q, Z, and C
are of great use if one intends to play near triple lines. This
is because they do not take hooks. K and J can also be helpful
as they have only back hooks. A three-letter play which is
parallel to any other word is capable of effectively blocking
off around five bingo lines when good scoring is on the
way.
The above steps can be termed
as 'Scrabble Help' in short. If followed properly, one need not
panic by the name of Scrabble.
